What is the personality type of Anton? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Anton from The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus and what is the personality traits.
Anton personality type is INFP, which is one of the four primary types. I’m saying it’s not a coincidence that he’s an INFP.
The INFP uses Extraverted Feeling (Fe) as their dominant function. This will result in how the INFP sees the world, how they experience their emotions, how they express their emotions, and how they deal with their emotions.
So why is it that Anton feels the way he feels?
The answer to this is found in the INFP’s auxiliary function: Introverted Sensing (Si).
What does this mean? The Si, or as is more commonly known, the Sensing, is an important part of what it means to be an INFP.
Unlike the Intuitive (Ni) and Thinking (Ti), which are all about the “big picture” and abstract concepts, the Sensing is about concrete facts and sensory realities.
Sensing and Sensitivity
As I mentioned in my intro to ISTP Personality Type, ISTPs have a very strong Sensing function. And this is partially due to their inferior Se, which functions as a weak or poor Sensing function.
