I really enjoyed this book because it was told from Macie’s point of view instead of the point of view of the other characters. I think this book is going to connect with a lot of readers because it is the story of an introvert who falls in love with an extrovert. It is also the story of a young girl who is raised in a very religious home and has a very sheltered upbringing and has to learn to find her own way and carve her own path in life.
There were just a few things that I had issues with. First, there were a few characters that I thought were flat and not fully developed. This was really the only thing that I didn’t like about the book. The other issue I had was that the story seemed to jump around a lot and there was a lot of repetition of information that I had already read earlier in the book.
