Maya personality type is ENFP, so I think it definitely fits.
It’s a problem that most people have with the whole idea of character type since they think that personality is just a way to describe what you do. And they think that if you have a certain personality type, then that means you’re going to be someone who does certain things.
But this is wrong.
Personality type is about how you are, not what you do. For example, take the four archetypes I mentioned at the beginning of this article. They are four very different archetypes. The ISTJ might be very different from the ISTP in terms of how she is, but the ISTJ would have the same personality type just because they share the same root function.
So why do people think that personality types are about what you do?
The answer is because they just don’t understand the real meaning of personality type. Personality type is about how you are, not what you do. It’s about your core, not your behavior.
The other reason why people think personality type is about what you do is because they’re trying to relate their own personalities to the types.
