Jones personality type is ESTP, but I have always focused on the ISTP part of the description. I was all about the action, the thrill, the challenge and the desire for power.
I think that when my mother first brought me home to live with her, I was about two years old. She had been a single parent for about a year, and I was her first child. I remember her telling me to “be good” as she left for work. She would come home from work, and every day she would feed me, bathe me, and put me to bed. My father would often come home from work, and he would put me to bed too.
The next thing I remember is that I was in a terrible car accident. My mother had been driving the car, and she was killed. My father was very distraught and never really got over the loss of my mother. My father mostly kept to himself and didn’t really talk to me as much as he did my brother and sister. I was left with my paternal grandparents. My father stopped talking to my grandparents very soon afterwards, so I don’t even know what he had to say about my accident or how it happened.
