Her lack of agency also results in her not being able to take care of her own personal finances, as she is literally handed everything she needs by others, including money for food and housing. She is also literally handed an apartment, which again is given to her without her having to do anything.
The fact that she is not allowed to make decisions for herself also means she cannot make decisions on the new career path of the superhero team of which she is a part. The group is run by an amoral character who literally hands her the superhero costume and tells her to use violence against criminals. The new costume, which literally gives her super powers, was also literally handed to her by her boyfriend.
