Mami is a bit of a free spirit, most of the time. She's got her own ideas about what she wants to do and not much interest in following the crowd. She does have a strong sense of what she wants to do, however, and when she does decide on something, she'll stick with it until it's done. And she usually follows through with what she said she'd do, even if it doesn't make sense to other people.
She might come off as a bit aloof and distant some of the time but she is actually very kind and caring. She just has a way of looking at things that tends to make others perceive her as cold and uncaring, especially when she wants to protect them from having to deal with people. Mami is one of the more patient people you're likely to meet. She's also very tough and determined, which helps her to keep going when things get tough and to stay focused on the task at hand.
