Erkin personality type is INFJ, which is a variant of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality type. INFJs are also known as Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging. INFJs make up 2% of the U.S. population.
I have personally known a number of INFJs, and can attest that this personality type is highly misunderstood and often mistreated by outsiders. This may be because INFJs are perceived as being shy, quiet and withdrawn, but are actually the exact opposite. I’ve observed INFJs to be exceptionally talented at finding the best in others and at supporting and encouraging other people, which is a very difficult trait to cultivate in oneself.
I’ve also witnessed INFJs go through a number of hardships and struggle with depression, anxiety, loneliness and isolation. This can be caused by a combination of inferior function (Fe) inferior function shadowing (Se), which is often combined with other things – especially when the INFJ is young or inexperienced.
The INFJ shadow is a very real phenomenon, but the real problem is that INFJs often don’t realize they have it or that they need to do something about it.
