Fabrication Machine aka “B.R.A.I.N” personality type is INTJ, as well as the type to which I most closely resemble. In other words, I’m a fucking genius. So I have a lot of experience with the big hard-ass, hard-working INTJ types, not to mention being one of those types.
One of the things that I really enjoy about INTJs is the way they can arrange a series of seemingly unrelated facts and pull them all together into a picture that’s almost impossible to see from any other perspective. For example, I was able to take the results of a recent animal experiment and see how it was related to a couple of problems that I’ve been working on lately.
The experiment
In this experiment, researchers looked into how people respond to different types of shock – one type of shock being a shock to the foot, and the other shock being a shock to the hand. They also tested a bunch of other stuff – like whether or not people can tell the difference between a sound that’s coming from a speaker and a sound that’s coming from their own foot.
