In my mind, I want to make it clear that ENTPs are not necessarily the “ideal” personality type. They are often perceived by others as “self-centered,” “aloof,” and “cold.” They can be incredibly intelligent and entertaining, and they can be difficult to understand for people who have not been in their inner circle for a long time. They can also have a tendency to come across as disingenuous.
The Knight of Light personality might be described as a “secretive” person who is reluctant to reveal himself or herself to others. This is not necessarily because of an inability to connect but rather an unwillingness to connect. ENTPs don’t trust others and they don’t believe they can be trusted, and they might be right. It’s not uncommon for ENTPs to feel like they are alone in the world, even though they may be surrounded by friends and family. They often feel like they are “missing out” on an experience because they aren’t receiving the full benefit of being present in the moment.
