Lenny Bruce personality type is ENTP, which I’ve found to be a very misunderstood type. Most people assume that the ENTJ is the “Lenny Bruce” type – a brash, funny, outspoken, and narcissistic personality. But Lenny Bruce was an ENTJ – a “Lenny Bruce character” is an ENTJ. They are often misunderstood as being “just like Lenny Bruce”, which they are not. Lenny Bruce was a highly functioning male type: he could be funny and witty and speak his mind and hold forth on everything and anything. He was a “socializer” and a “charmer” and he could present himself as a somewhat superior person. He could be an entertainer and a clown. He was very aware of his own strengths and weaknesses, and he used those strengths and weaknesses as tools for self-deprecation and self-pity as well as self-promotion.
