Solitano Jr. was born in New Jersey to Solitano Sr. and his wife. He was raised in New Jersey where he attended the same high school as Tony Soprano. He had an older brother Tony Jr. and a younger sister having a difficult childhood due to his father's violent nature and alcoholism. He went to a Catholic school where he was a standout athlete, a star in football and baseball, and a straight-A student. Tony's father was a violent man who, when he drank, would beat his son and his two daughters. In high school, Tony Sr. beat his son for wearing a dress to class. In later life, he was a drug addict who would beat his wife and children.
