Desmond Doss personality type is INFP, and I've had numerous INFPs work on my games. I think the reason they work best as programmers is because they're so disciplined. They don't have a problem with working long hours, and they're usually very good at multitasking. I had one programmer working on my game, who was a musician as well, and he worked 10 to 12 hours a day, sometimes in the middle of the night. When he first started he complained about his life, saying that he was too busy to be doing things for music. When I saw that he was good at multitasking I started giving him work that he could do at night, and he thrived on the work.
He didn't have a problem with working long hours, because he knew that he would have time to work on music once the game was done. He was able to finish it faster than other programmers who complained all the time. He's now a successful musician who has a record label and a huge following. So overall it all worked out fine for me in the end. He was actually able to start his own record label and make money off his music, which is something that I'm still waiting for myself to be able to do.
