Barend has been to a few of our workshops. He was very natural and confident when he went in for his audition, and had a great rapport with the director. In the end, he was cast as the lead in the film, which required him to be interviewed on camera several times over the course of his shoot. His first interview was with a male interviewer who seemed intrigued by Barend's sensitivity and shyness. During the interview, Barend was asked if he would be willing to do a nude scene. Barend froze up, and seemed uncomfortable with the question.
