João Alberto Barone Reis e Silva, better known as João Barone (born August 5, 1962 in Rio de Janeiro), is a Brazilian drummer. Since 1982 he is the drummer of the band Os Paralamas do Sucesso. Recognized as one of the most influential drummers in Brazil, he built his reputation over the history of more than three decades. Because of his work in the band, he was invited to record with various artists and groups such as Ultraje a Rigor, Titãs, Sepultura, Marina Lima, Lenine, Rita Lee, Zizi Possi, Zé Ramalho, among others.
