Character History
Origin
The original part of the character's origin story involved being an obscure scientist working on a project to turn human beings into robots, with the plan to use the robots as slaves. He recoiled at the idea of turning himself into a slave, and as a result, was inadvertently turned into a living robot. He then proceeded to use his intellect to turn himself into the slavemaster of all robots, with his first major goal being to create the ultimate robot, Ultron.
After the defeat of Ultron, he became a member of the Masters of Evil, but even after that he would continue to work on his own schemes such as his plan to use technology to turn people into robots, recover the lost city of Atlantis, and even build a colony on Mars.
