Ace personality type is INFP, while INTP is the least common type. As a result, there are a lot more INFPs than INTPs.
The second reason why I think INTPs tend to sometimes be a bit too intense is that they are often introverted. It is only reasonable that they would be.
Now, don’t mistake my words for saying that INTPs are always introverted. For example, INTPs can be extroverted if they have a lot of extraverted friends (or simply just feel more comfortable around people in general). This IS a common misconception among T types. I’ll get back to this distinction in a minute.

INTP-INFJ
If the INTP’s introversion is too much, then it could make it difficult for them to relate to their INFJ counterparts because they will probably not be able to relate to each other on an emotional level.
