I have a bad habit of not being able to take criticism well. I have a bad habit of being overly sensitive. I have a bad habit of not adjusting to culture. In the entertainment industry, it's very rare to see an American actor who has not already been exposed to the culture of his country, be it English, Canadian or Australian. We've all seen American movies made from other countries, but very few of us have seen an American movie made by Americans for Americans.
This is the first time I've ever seen the stereotype of Americans as obnoxious, loud and crass on film. We're not like that at all. In fact, we're very particular about how we portray ourselves on film. The media has been doing it for so long that we've become accustomed to it.
I've worked with many different people in Hollywood over the years, and this is the first time I've had to deal with people who are so amazingly unprofessional.
