I think that they were targeting an ENFP or ENTP with the intent to cause them harm (maybe someone who was doing something that they didn't like) and that they were acting on their own for personal reasons. Maybe the ENFP had a mental breakdown and snapped. Who knows.
But your whole line of reasoning is flawed. As I said before, these aren't stereotypes (that would be racial stereotypes). They are traits that exist in the real world.
