Yong Bok personality type is ISFJ, the type to which I'm most closely aligned. I'm certain I'm not alone in this.
And, when I hear people talk about this in forums, many of them are ISFJ's. What I hear when I read discussions about MBTI in the MBTI community is that it's all "MBTI talk" and that the reason why MBTI has failed in schools is because, at least in American schools, students are too familiar with using MBTI to talk to each other.
This is why the "MBTI in the work place" stuff is so problematic for me. Yes, I know that if you are an ISFJ, you are less familiar with MBTI than you are with other personality types. But I worry that this means that many people are being misled into thinking that MBTI is less important in the workplace than it really is.
I know that the MBTI community doesn't have a monopoly on how people understand MBTI or misuse it. I'm just saying that I think that the MBTI community definitely contributes to the problem of misuse.
