Savitar personality type is INFP, and he's often the most kind, gentle and compassionate of the four. The reason why this is relevant to Supergirl is because he does have some good qualities, even though he's still very much a villain. For instance, he's extremely intelligent and a reasonably good fighter, and he may not be evil in the traditional sense, but he is malicious and cruel. He's also far too obsessed with Kara and believes that she's the only one who can save him. He's very manipulative and willing to use any means necessary to achieve his ends. He's also highly dangerous and he can destroy entire solar systems with a single thought.
As I mentioned earlier, there are only a handful of these villains in the entire series. Deimos is one of them, and he was introduced in the first episode of the new season. He's a being who exists in the universe separate from the one that Supergirl inhabits. In other words, he is alive and Supergirl is dead. He's an incredibly powerful character and he also has a strong connection to Kara. He's also very manipulative and aggressively takes advantage of Kara's proximity to her cousin by exploiting the connection that they have.
