Calamity Jane personality type is ESFP, with a strong showing of ENFP. The ENFP in me is quite the romanticist, and I have enough in common with Jane to want to be her. I’m not sure if I’d call my own romanticism “carny”, but I think there are some similarities with what I’d call Jane’s “carny” romanticism.
Other Observations
There are two things that stood out to me in looking at Jane’s character sketch.
First, it’s clear that Tyrion was a big influence on her. She’s very sarcastic, she was a wild tomboy in her youth, and she has a cheeky, wry sense of humor.
Second, I think it’s interesting that she was a tomboy, but she has no family memory of her father. It could be that he died when she was young, or that he was never that present in her life. Or maybe it’s that she was orphaned before she could remember him. I don’t know.
