The 3x3x3 Cube is a Rubik's cube in which each face contains a single color. The cube has six faces, each of which is made up of nine squares along its edges. In the initial state, the cube has all squares on the color their corresponding face color. The solution to the cube is to set each face to its colour.

The puzzle was invented by Erno Rubik, an engineer from Hungary. In 1974, he designed the cube while working on a puzzle design that would be his last company, Mecanica Fundamental. He wanted to create a puzzle that a person could use their hands and wrists while solving it, not just their brain.

The cube was initially rejected by Rubik, but he eventually discovered its potential and decided to produce it. In 1975, he formed Rubik's Cube Co. Ltd. In 1977, he released his first Cube, which was a plastic version of the puzzle. It took 14 months to produce. He later created the cube with different colors in 1980. In 1981, he released the cube with all white cubes, which was not a big success.
