Fio Piccolo personality type is ENFP, which makes me think that he's pretty good at dealing with people. But he's also the type to go out of his way to make sure people are happy, or at least, he seems to want to be useful.
He's not terribly stable, though. He's got a similar mentality to Shizune, in that he's always looking for the next opportunity to improve himself. He also doesn't appear to have much in the way of a moral compass.
This is all well and good in the early parts of the game, where you're not certain of anything. But when you get closer to the truth, it's kind of overwhelming. It's like he's two different people, one before he came to the island, and one after.
I don't know what to think. I mean, I can't really fault him for trying to live up to his promise, but that's kind of impossible. There's just no way that he could accomplish that goal. I'm not saying he should have just run away. But I'm not sure what could have happened if he had either.
I guess this is just another reason I admire Shizune so much.
