Alexander Langer (22 February 1946 – 3 July 1995) was an Italian journalist, peace activist, politician, translator, and teacher. He was among the founders of the Italian Green Party and one of the leaders of the European Green movement. He has promoted numerous initiatives for peace, human rights and the defence of the environment.
