All of these experiences have reinforced for me that I am a minority and that I am different. I am also fortunate to have white privilege and advantages that allow me to overcome many of these challenges and disadvantages.
David Gardner, born in 1966 while inside of Washington DC, is one of three founders of the large investment news company "The Motley Fool" which he co-founded as a family business. Their business recently became famous after a series of iconic YouTube advertisements bringing their attention to a wide pool of current and aspiring stock investors. David has also published and co-authored several books with Motley Fool branding seeking to provide practical investment advice.
