The old I think is of a girl who was about 9 or 10 years old.
I don't think it is canon, but I had a friend once who said she thought it was canon and that her best friend had asked her to get her "the new Sherlock" and that she was told that it was a picture of John and Sherlock together.
I think she had read the books, but I don't know for sure.
