Celica A. Mercury personality type is INFP, and neither of us are INFPs. There is a lot of overlap, but we're totally different in a lot of ways. But I do agree that INFPs could be quite the "Mercury".
I think INFPs are very idealistic. I also agree that they are very idealistic in a way that they try to live up to the ideals they have created in their minds, even if they know they can't. They're always trying to be perfect, even when it's impossible.
INFPs are very creative. They are very creative in a way that they will often come up with the most creative and weird ideas. They are also very creative in the sense that they can create a lot of beautiful things and create something from nothing. For example, we both use Photoshop to edit photos, but I don't have to have all the features that Photoshop has to do it. I use the tools that I like, and I make my own style for it, and it's much more creative than using it exactly as it's designed for. I don't think that's necessarily because I'm a INFP.
