That’s a lot of things that point to a little bit of a shared history. It’s a little surprising that we don’t know each other from when we were in college, when the anime ended, the same time when we started to get really active in our respective communities. But there are so many other people in the fandom who have been around since the anime began, so it’s not so much a matter of how long someone has been in the fandom, but what they contribute to the fandom. So I don’t know if Rinko was active in yaoi fandom back when I was in college, but I was active in it. And she was a big part of that activity. So I can’t honestly say that we don’t know each other.
