My husband is a “Barbie” as well. He’s an INTJ, and I’m an ISTP, so he’s usually the voice of reason.
This doesn’t stop me from trying to be the voice of reason (which is a pretty hard thing to do as an ISTP). We’re both very good at it – we even have our own special way of doing it.
It all started back when we were at university. My husband was finishing his degree and wanting to get a job. He was looking for a career and was trying to decide between teaching and becoming a journalist. I was finishing my degree and thinking about getting a job as an actress.
When we were done with our degrees, we both had jobs. I was working as an actress and he was working as a journalist. I wanted to move to Vancouver to try and get into the acting world. My husband didn’t want to move to Vancouver, so we decided to go our separate ways.
