What is the personality type of Lloyd Christmas? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Lloyd Christmas from Dumb & Dumber 1994 and what is the personality traits.
Lloyd Christmas personality type is ENFP, which is one of my favorite types since I use it often in my writing (you can see me give my own definition here). His line “I’m like the world’s worst utility player.” has always stuck with me because it feels like an ENFP thing to say. He’s the kind of ENFP who would use that line.
You can see this even more clearly in his interactions with the black cat that’s always following him around like a lost puppy. It’s not just that he loves animals; he loves them so much that he’s willing to sacrifice his entire life for them. He’s willing to give up his humanity to be their friend, lover, and protector.
In the movie, he’s portrayed as being a little bit more of a goofball than he actually is. In reality, he’s a very serious person who is very capable of being a serious character – something that’s important for a film to portray correctly – but he also has a sense of fun and playfulness.
