Alan “Tommy” Lascelles personality type is ISTJ, although his dominant function of Extraverted Thinking is not expressed in his type. Introverted Sensing, or Si, is his inferior function. As a child, Tommy was not very comfortable in social situations. His mother, who is an ENTP, was very domineering and had little patience for him. He did not have any particularly close friends growing up. His father, who is an ENTJ, was also domineering and had little patience for him. He did not have any particularly close friends growing up. His parents divorced when he was in his early 20s. When his mother remarried, he felt the same way about his stepfather as he did about his real father. This caused great tension in the family. By the time Tommy reached adulthood, he felt very alone. He married a woman who is an ENTP and they have a son together. While they still feel very alone, at least they have each other.
