Clementine Churchill personality type is ISFP, which is more of a subtype of ISFJ. The ISTJ subtype, which I believe to be much more common, is less inclined to be "smooth operators" and more likely to be the kind of person who speaks only when spoken to and makes others feel like they're intruding on their inner world. (This is a good thing for this type and a bad thing for ISFPs.)
I think there is a lot of truth in this passage. The ISTJ personality type seems to be much more likely to be the kind of person who talks at length and loudly about what he wants, and may be more likely as the result to leave the other person feeling as though they don't belong. Though I think there is a lot of truth here, it doesn't quite apply to all ISFJs. It's true that we can be misanthropic at times and we often become bored and annoyed when we're forced to interact with people, but I think that's because we're often bored and annoyed by all the people we interact with. It's not because we hate people.
