What is the personality type of Gilber F. Altstein? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Gilber F. Altstein from Kekkai Sensen and what is the personality traits.
Gilber F. Altstein personality type is ISTJ, the same as my own. His posts about his research are great. I had also read a few of his books on the ISTJ type and found them insightful.
My initial reaction to this book was that it was too long, it seemed far too wordy and complicated. I will add that I am not a quick reader or a fast reader. I need to take some time and pick apart the ideas and put them back together. This book is a bit wordy and I found myself in need of some breaks. I needed to stop and reflect on what he was saying but only to come back to it later.
I found that the author's argument in this book is that the role of the ISTJ is to "keep control". He says that the ISTJ is the "controller", the "controller" of the "system". He states that the ISTJ thinks in terms of "what" and not "why", in terms of "control" and not "freedom". He describes the ISTJ as being "all about control" in relationships and "with no freedom for self-expression". This seems to be a very accurate description of me as well as my wife.
