I think one of the most underrated characters in the book is Sancho Panza from Don Quixote. I love his humor and his tenacity.
What do you hope to accomplish with your writing?
I want to make a world where people feel a sense of hope, a place where there is a sense of home and community. Where people can look up to the sky and see the moon, not a sky full of pollution and exhaust fumes. I want to teach my readers about the natural world, about how we can use our natural resources wisely and sustainably. In the end, I want to teach people not to judge too quickly.
In what ways has your writing changed since you have been published?
I have been published for over ten years now, and I have a lot more stories. I have a lot to say, and a lot of life experiences to share.
