Lewis personality type is ESFJ, which makes sense since he seems to have a lot of the characteristics of a nurse. It is very likely that the people in his life would be very important to him and he would try to please them as much as possible. This would result in him being very cautious and careful with his words and actions, as he would be trying to not upset those who matter to him. He would also be giving a lot of attention to those around him as well as being very kind and considerate of others.
If you're familiar with the show "House", then you'll probably be able to relate to this personality type.
This is not to say that Sheldon does not have his issues, but he would never act on them, unless he was drunk or mad at someone else. He would always be very careful about what he says, as he would feel like he needed to be totally correct (he often came off like this to others).
He would also be very aware of what others are thinking about him and would think very carefully about how he acted if he was in a situation where his actions might be misinterpreted or taken the wrong way.
