So, what does all this mean for me? I’m an ISTJ. For me, this means that I’m an introvert with an extraverted personality. Okay, fine. Let’s expand upon that a little bit. I’m an extravert, but I don’t feel the need to talk to everyone I meet. I enjoy the company of others, but I don’t feel the need to force myself into the center of a room just because someone else is there.
In general, I tend to enjoy social situations more than I enjoy being alone with my thoughts. I prefer to talk to people than to think out loud to myself. I like to listen more than I like to talk. And while I’m good at reading people and understanding their motivations, I tend to share too much of myself with others.
On the other hand, I’m good at planning, thinking through things, and solving problems. I have a very logical mind and can often see the logical conclusion to a situation before I hear what was said.
