I think I was just born with a natural interest in human psychology and human development, because I was always interested in wanting to know what makes other people tick. I use to take pleasure in trying to figure out why people do the things they do, and I always wanted to understand them better. That curiosity and interest has stayed with me throughout my life.
My parents also had a strong influence on me, as my mother was a college professor and my father was a high school teacher. They taught me the value of hard work, and how important it is to aim high and never give up. The three of us (my parents and I) always pushed each other to do our best every day.

I actually have so many, but one of my favorite quotes is from John Maxwell: “You can’t change your destination overnight. You must move forward one step at a time, taking one day at a time.
