Negative XP / ϟCHØØL ϟHØØTΣR personality type is INFP, which is making me wonder if that's the reason.
So, my theory is that, as an INFP, Aundra has a very hard time understanding the emotions of others and how to approach them. This is not at all uncommon among INFPs (or many other personality types, for that matter). The only real trait I see in him is his lust for knowledge and his desire to learn and understand things.
INFPs are above average readers, but they're also really smart. Aundra is an INFP, and Jered's a very smart guy. I think they're both just really bad at picking up on body language and subtle hints.
Aundra has a hard time articulating what he feels and how he feels about things, because he doesn't know how to explain it in words. He's so used to just processing the world and thinking things through and understanding them through logic and facts and information that he can't express his emotions or how he feels about something without sounding like a total douchebag.
