Erika Ishii: I don’t like our society. I don’t like how things are going right now. I think that the way the world is right now is in a worse place than it has been in 20 years. I guess that we’re at a point where people just don’t care about each other or about the world anymore. It’s not just happening in Japan, or anywhere else in the world, but also here in Japan.
I remember that my mother wanted me to wear a helmet when I was riding my bicycle. She said that they were more safe now so I should wear them. But when she saw how much it bothered me, she stopped making me wear them.
