I was about to type that I’m an ENFP/INFP, but then I realized that my personality (I’m an INFP, by the way) is more like an ENTP. I’ve always preferred the “outside view” of things to the inside view, and I like to make things more complex than they are.

I’ve been a programmer/developer in a variety of ways for about 30 years. I’ve also been in a variety of different careers in that time, from being a tour guide to being a truck driver. I have a variety of skills from being a tourist to being a trucker, and I think this has helped me understand people in many different ways.
For example, since I’ve been both a programmer and a trucker, I’ve come to realize that there are strong similarities between programming and driving a truck, but there are also some very important differences.
