He was the brains behind the original "robotman" costume, which allowed him to take on different personalities through different costumes (the first "robotman" suit was made from biodegradable plastic, which made it difficult to remove). After his wife's death , he attempted to remain on the straight and narrow, but was still ostracized by his family and friends.
