Liam McPoyle personality type is ESTP, so I don’t know how much of the ESTP humor is based on the actual personality type, but I’m sure there are some elements of it. He’s definitely a comedic character, with the dry wit and the relationship with his brother. And he’s a little bit of a control freak, so there’s a bit of a control issue in the show too. But he’s a really fun character, and I think what’s nice about him is that he’s a little bit more grounded than some of the other characters on the show.
I get a little bit of a sense from him that he was just a regular guy who got dragged into this crazy world. So he’s not as jaded as Todd or Howard or even Sheldon.
