What is the personality type of Pappy McPoyle? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Pappy McPoyle from Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia 2005 and what is the personality traits.
Pappy McPoyle personality type is INFP, so he's a quiet, intellectual type, but his best friend, Homer, is an extrovert. He likes to do things the way they're supposed to be done, and if Homer tries to do things his way, he'll blow up. The book also has a lot of funny insights into the lives of Marge's family, and into Homer's family. It's a very funny book about a very funny family.
My favorite part of the story is when Lisa is pitching a fit at her dad for not letting her go to the beach. The problem with this scene is that Lisa is a lot like Pappy McPoyle, and she's ranting about how Homer doesn't care about her feelings. Unfortunately, she's acting exactly like Homer, so she doesn't get any sympathy from him. I think this is because Homer doesn't think of himself as the sort of person who has feelings. He doesn't know what it's like to worry about what people think of him.
I love this book--a funny, touching story that is very well written.
