Max Kellerman personality type is ENTP, the “Mastermind.” I’m not really sure where this comes from, but I always thought that was a good thing. ENTPs seem to be able to see all sides of an issue and see how they can apply logic and reason to resolve the conflict.
There’s a good case to be made for saying that the best way to attack a problem is with a logical mind. But the problem with the ENTP is that he’s often too logical and doesn’t know when to stop. If the first argument you present is sound and backed by evidence, then he’ll agree and move on. If you present a less-than-satisfying argument, he’ll reject it and offer a better one.
You see, ENTPs are very good at finding flaws in arguments and arguments themselves. The problem is that they can sometimes be so effective, they’ll completely overlook the validity of the original argument. Kellerman’s delivery of arguments is so crisp and sharp, he sometimes loses sight of the forest for the trees.
