“Being in the band really helped me to become more confident in myself. It helped me with my self-esteem,” Maddie said.
“My mom is a soprano singer and she got me started playing flute when I was four years old. We would go to the library and play flute songs,” Maddie said.
Maddie said her parents made sure she had music in her life from an early age.
