Steven Assanti personality type is ESFP, and I am a strong ENFP. It's a little weird since we're not in the same family. I've been in a lot of relationships where people would say, “Oh, you're an extrovert!” and I'd say, “No, I'm an introvert.” [Laughs] But [like with] your type, it's not a question of whether you're an extrovert or introvert. It's a question of how you express your energy.
How do you express your energy?
I have a lot of friends who are extroverts and they're just loud, and I'm just quiet. I don't really have a loud personality. I'm not a screamer or a yelling person. If people want to get a conversation together, they have to really be quiet and listen to what I have to say. Then it's kind of quiet, but I can get a lot done.
So how does that work for you?
It's not that I don't have friends who are extroverts. We've been friends since high school, and we've been roommates, and we're going to the same parties.
