Lucas personality type is ENFJ, which is not only a bit of a surprise, but an interesting insight as to why he seemed to have a hard time getting close to people for quite a long time.
However, when I combined the four Matrixes, I discovered that the real reason is that Lucas is INFP. As you can see from my diagram, he is the INFP that is most like the archetypal personality type. He is sensitive, emotional, and has a very strong need to be loved.
INFPs are the most prone to depression and anxiety, and will often struggle with them because they feel disconnected from the world around them. Because of this, they often feel as though they don’t belong anywhere, and will look for a home where they feel safe and cared for. When they find it, they usually end up being caretakers of others.
Lucas’s INFP nature explains why he felt so isolated and alone for so long, because his core needs were not being met. His desire to be loved was never fully met by his family, and his need to be respected and felt as though he belonged was never met by the people that he worked with.
