He is a pretty smart kid who, in spite of his seemingly dumbing down of the future, is essentially a great kid who is only limited by his own perceptions. He's very creative, and creative is what he wants to be, but he doesn't always know how to get there.
He has a strong moral compass, though he's not very good at applying it practically to everyday life. He's very idealistic, and doesn't always understand that other people's morals are different than his own.
His desire to be creative and artistic sometimes leads him to become fixated on a single project and ignore other people, or to try to force his ideas upon others when they really don't want them.
He can be a bit immature, and definitely can be stubborn. He can be oblivious to the feelings of others, and will generally overreact to situations when he's hurt and doesn't truly understand why he's hurt.
He is also very emotional and sensitive, which can sometimes make him seem like he's getting over-influenced by his emotions rather than just being a person whose emotions are strong.
