Suiryu personality type is ESTP, and this is supported by his personality type, which is not very different from a lot of other ESTP characters. He has a tendency to be a bit of a hothead, and he does seem to be somewhat rude and rough around the edges, but he's not really as selfish as some of his other counterparts. He's actually a bit more than just a hothead, and more like a cocky little boy - he has very little respect for authority and often gets himself into trouble with his peers because of it. He has a knack for getting into fights with people who underestimate him, or who insult him or try to pick a fight with him. He isn't scared to get hit or hurt, and he doesn't seem to really care about it. He's also quite good at fighting people off when he does get into fights - as long as he can get the upper hand, he doesn't seem to care much about the consequences of getting into fights.
While Seiryu may very well be the leader of the Samui Gang, he's not at all interested in being the leader of the group. In fact, he's not very interested in being in any group at all.
Suiryu is a skilled martial artist. He is trained in the Void Fist, and a champion of many Super Fights. He faces Saitama in the finals and is shocked by his own defeat. After being rescued from monsters by Saitama, he learns what heroism truly is.
