I think a lot of people dismiss this guy because he's not very "intellectual," and he does not put a lot of thought into his actions. I think it's wrong to dismiss him because of this, though. I think that people who are too "intellectual" often have trouble relating to the less-educated members of society. They have no patience for people who are not as intelligent and don't think as deeply as they do.
In the video, he criticizes those who spend too much time on their smart phones, and complains about how he can't find parking spaces. He also says that the people who sit in the parking spots near him don't even look at him. It's true that these people aren't looking at Stan, but they're also not looking at him because they're getting off a bus or running to their car as fast as they can. They probably don't think that they're doing anything wrong, but they're just trying to get to their destination as fast as possible.
I think it was really good of him to leave his piece of change on the counter so that he could make a donation to help out.
